In recognition of this important observance, a special dinner event is being held on Tuesday, October 10th at the Family Life Center in Sisseton. The event is open to the public. However, reservations for the upcoming dinner event are requested by no later than this Thursday, October 5th. The doors will open at 5:45 p.m. with dinner being served at 6. The keynote speaker for the event is Chris Koch, a Canadian farmer whose motivational presentation is entitled “If I can…”

Despite being born without arms and legs, Chris has gone on to lead virtually a normal life while living life to the fullest…

Although Chris has enjoyed having the opportunity to share his own personal story with other people around the world, he says his upcoming trip to South Dakota will also have special meaning for another reason…
