South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the death of a Sisseton man earlier this month has been ruled accidental.

He said an autopsy confirmed 43-year-old Wesley Keith Spider died from alcohol poisoning.

On Tuesday, October 3rd the Sisseton-Wahpeton Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a drainage ditch just off 8th Avenue East.

Upon arrival, they found Spider dead inside the drainage ditch.
