Officials in Codington County say a woman was seriously injured yesterday (Tuesday) when the vehicle she was driving rear-ended a large truck on U.S. Highway 212 in Kranzburg.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly before noon. The woman was trapped inside her vehicle and had to be freed by local emergency response crews.
The woman, whose name wasn’t released, was taken to Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown with serious injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
