A Sisseton man who was injured in a three vehicle collision at an intersection in town last month has died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Sixty-one-year-old Tony Gutierrez was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle that collided with a car on State Highway 10 while attempting to turn into a parking lot on the afternoon of Monday, December 11th. The impact caused the SUV to overturn and slide into another vehicle that was exiting the parking lot.
Gutierrez was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital where he died on December 23rd.
Two other people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
