St. Lawrence School in Milbank to Celebrate “Catholic Schools Week”

Students and staff at St. Lawrence School in Milbank will be celebrating “Catholic Schools Week,”
throughout the coming week. St. Lawrence School Principal Brenda Anderson says a variety of fun-filled events are planned to kick off this year’s annual week-long celebration…

Brenda also goes on to talk about the theme chosen for this year’s annual “Catholic Schools Week” celebration, as well as some special events that are planned locally throughout the week…

Looking ahead to the start of the coming week, Monday has been designated as “Career Day” as students are encouraged to dress in the attire of their future occupation. Tuesday is “Soup Day” as grandparents and the elderly are invited to feast on homemade soup prepared by fifth and sixth grade students from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Students will also enjoy “Twin Day” by dressing up in matching style clothes with a partner. Wednesday, meanwhile, has been designated as “Wacky, Wild Wednesday” as students are encouraged to dress in oddly matched clothing with wild and crazy hair. Looking further ahead, a variety of fun-filled events are scheduled to take place on Thursday, as well, as Brenda explains…

The week-long celebration will come to a final conclusion on Friday with a variety of unique fun-filled events planned throughout the entire day…
