A Milbank High School vocal music student has been selected to perform in a prestigious Midwest high school honor choir event in Chicago later this week. Shawn Stemsrud, a senior vocal music student at MHS has been selected to perform with the “Central and North Central Division Honor Choir” during the “Unite in Song Conference” being held February 14 – 17. The “Central and North Central Division Honor Choir” will perform Saturday afternoon in the renowned Harris Theater in Chicago. The choir will be under the direction of Dr. Jefferson Johnson from the University of Kentucky.
