The Milbank school district has announced the recipient of its “Teacher of the Year” award for the 2017-18 school year.
This year’s award recipient is Miriam Schwenn, Milbank Middle School/High School Vocal Music-General Music teacher.
Nomination forms for the honor were made available in the central office at Milbank High School and were also sent home with students second quarter report cards.
The Milbank “Teacher of the Year” automatically becomes eligible for the ESA and South Dakota “Teacher of the Year” award.
