Local Citizen Approaches Milbank City Council About the Recent Invasion of Coyotes Within the Southern Part of the Community

At a recent meeting of the Milbank City Council, a local citizen noted that some residents in the southern part of the community have been observing coyotes wandering within their property lines and was inquiring as to whether it was permissible to trap such animals to keep them away from their pets and outdoor vegetation. The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department does not actively engage in the trapping of wild animals within the city limits.
