Midwest Dairy Elects Leadership

Allen Merrill, a dairy farmer from Parker, South Dakota, was recently re-elected as chairman of Midwest Dairy during the organization’s annual meeting held in conjunction with the Western Dairy Forum in Phoenix, Arizona.

At the meeting, Annelies Seffrood, of Summit was elected as a new member to serve on the Midwest Dairy Corporate board by the South Dakota Dairy Division.

New board officers for the South Dakota Dairy Division include Jim Neugebauer, Dimock, chairman; Mike Frey, Claremont, Vice Chair; Chris Fieber, Goodwin, Secretary; and Gary Jarding, Alexandria, treasurer.

The Midwest Dairy Association represents 7,000 dairy farm families and works on their behalf to increase dairy sales, foster innovation and inspire consumer confidence in dairy products and practices.
