Sisseton Missing Person Case Remains Active

This weekend marks the eighth anniversary of the disappearance of a northeastern South Dakota man.

On April 7th, 2010, Andrew Lufkins of Sisseton disappeared after spending time in a local bar.

Witnesses say Lufkins reportedly became involved in a fight with another man that same night, and has not been seen since.

An ongoing investigation regarding the case is being conducted by the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.

Official’s say foul play has been suspected for quite some time.

Lufkins is described as being a Native American male who was 23-years-old at the time of his disappearance.
