Construction work has officially begun for a new hotel project coming to Milbank.
Today (Wednesday), site work began for a new GrandStay Hotel project being developed at the intersection of Highway 15 and 10th Avenue in south Milbank.
Work crews from J & J Earthworks started the initial ground preparation work this (Wednesday) morning in an effort to get the project moving forward.
Wet weather delayed the initial start date by a week, but building contractors are confident they will be able to make up time very quickly.
The hotel project is expected to be completed in mid-October.
