Depression Support Group Being Organized in Milbank

A 12-week series of classes is being organized in the Milbank area for people who may be struggling with depression, but aren’t quite sure how to cope with the problem. The class offering, entitled “Live Every Day,” will begin on Tuesday, May 8th at 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church located on South Highway 15 in Milbank. The class sessions will be facilitated by Terri Mielitz, who is certified in mental health first aid and is also a licensed social worker associate who has a master’s degree in educational leadership. Terri describes some of the key things the upcoming class sessions will focus on when it comes to understanding and better coping with depression in people’s everyday lives …

Terri also goes on to describe some of the key tools that will be utilized throughout the upcoming class sessions to help participants better understand and cope with their depression like symptoms…


According to Terri, once the class gets started, new tools will be made available for participants to help them better understand what they’re going through and how they can better deal with whatever struggles they may currently face…

Terri says depression can be relatively mild, or in some cases, very extreme, depending on the individual circumstances…
