Wilmot City-School Election to Take Place on June 19th

Candidates who are interested in serving on the Wilmot City Council and Board of Education are reminded that the deadline for filing nomination petitions is this Friday, May 11th at 5 p.m.

Petitions can be obtained at the Wilmot City Office or the school Business Office during regular business hours.

Interested candidates must have their petitions returned by the end of the day on Friday in order to be eligible for the combined city/school election on June 19th.

School board seats that are up for election this year are currently occupied by Denise Lutkemeier and Jacob Huff.

The city council has three positions that are up for election, with the mayor’s seat being up for election, as well.

City Council positions that are up for election this year include: Clayton Winge-Ward I; Brian Schnazer-Ward II; and Riley Kuschel-Ward III. The mayor’s seat is currently occupied by Terry O’Keefe.
