The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the hiring of a new Membership and Finance Director for the organization.
Laurie Folk, a Milbank native, will succeed Chelcie Eischens, whose last day will be May 24th.
Folk is a 1995 graduate of Milbank High School. She also has an associate degree from Lake Area Technical Institute in marketing management and sales. Folk previously spent 12 years in Sioux Falls as a customer service and sales representative. Folk also has a great deal of financial expertise, which will be a notable benefit as she begins her new position with the Milbank Chamber.
Folk has most recently been employed by the Avera Health Group.
Folk, and her husband, Ron, have three children, Owen, who is 13-years-old, Oliver, who is five, and Oscar, who is age three.
