A single vehicle rollover accident in Roberts County early Saturday morning has claimed the life of one person while injuring three others.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says the accident occurred at around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Nelson Avenue and 456th Avenue southwest of Sisseton.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Chevy Malibu overturned upon entering the intersection. The driver, an 18-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers inside the vehicle all sustained minor injuries.
None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
So far, no names have been released.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
