A pedestrian who was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Watertown a couple of weeks ago has died from his injuries.
Fifty-five-year-old Galen Conkle of Watertown was walking near the Watertown Family Aquatic Center on U.S. Highway 212 on the night of May 8th when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
Conkle was flown to a Sioux Falls hospital immediately following the accident. He died on May 16th.
Nineteen-year-old Kevin Fischbach of Watertown has been charged with Driving Under the Influence, Underage Purchase or Possession of Alcohol and Driving Under Revocation in connection with the accident.
