Three Juveniles Charged in Milbank Vandalism Case

The Milbank Police Department has announced that charges have been filed against three juveniles In connection with a recent vandalism spree that covered a wide area of the community.

All three have been formally charged with intentionally causing damage to private property.

The case stems from a series of spray painting incidents that occurred throughout different areas of town during the late evening of May 19th and early morning of May 20th.

Police say more than 20 different properties sustained damage including several Main Street businesses, city property, Koch School and private property, as well.

Damage estimates are still being tabulated, but local officials say they believe total damage incurred throughout the community could exceed $25,000.

The case has been referred to the Grant County State’s Attorney’s Office which has initiated juvenile delinquency proceedings against the subjects involved.

The names of the juveniles charged in the case are not being released, as such proceedings are considered confidential, meaning their names will not be made public.
