A benefit fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 9th from 4 – 8 p.m. at St. Peters Hall in Sisseton for Dusty Magnuson, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
A pulled pork meal will be served from 5 – 7 p.m. with a silent auction to take place from 4 – 7.
A benefit account has been set up for Dusty at Dakotah Bank under “Dusty Magnuson Benefit.”
Local organizers will be raffling two “half-a-hogs” with one dollar raffle tickets being made available for purchase at Sisseton Municipal Liquor and Twin Valley Tire.
They will also be raffling one “star quilt” with one dollar raffle tickets being made available for purchase at Sisseton Municipal Liquor.
Proceeds from the event will go toward helping Dusty offset his ongoing medical expenses.
