Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday. Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home announces the death of 62-year-old, Gene Ray Jorgenson, of Graceville, MN, who passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at his home. Memorial services for Gene will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, with a time of gathering from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home in Graceville, MN. A short prayer service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a time of food and fellowship immediately to follow at the Graceville Gun Club.
Gene is survived by his five brothers: Gerhard Jorgenson of Deer Park, WA; Merrill (Vaunda) Jorgenson of Prior Lake, MN; Curtis Jorgenson of Clinton, MN; Myron (Marilyn) Jorgenson of Barnesville, MN; and Harlen (Cindy) Jorgenson of Ortonville, MN; 10 nieces; three nephews; two aunts; and his biological son who he recently met before his passing. Amy Harris Glass (Schmidt), age 50, of St. Paul, originally from rural Appleton, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, in her home after an extended battle with cancer. A visitation will be held 3-4 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Aaron and Shannon Schmidt farm (rural Appleton). A private interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Shible Township.
Amy is survived by her spouse, Zoie Glass; her daughter, Austen Lucille Harris; her son, Devon Michael White; her parents, Roger and Jackie Schmidt; her siblings Aaron [Shannon] Schmidt, Anne [Aaron] Kells and Adam [Olivia] Schmidt; and by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
