Orphan Grain Train to Offer Disaster Relief Services to Texas Hurricane Victims

The people of Texas are still experiencing the effects of Hurricane Harvey and will be dealing with the aftermath for months to come.

Orphan Grain Train, a top rated charity with Charity Navigators, is providing a variety of items and services to help benefit those in need. There is an immediate need for hygiene items as many people are being housed in shelters with more evacuees expected. In addition to providing adequate supplies for adults, Joyce says numerous supplies are also needed for many children as well…

There’s also a need for cash to help finance outstanding expenses incurred as a result of the recent hurricane disaster. Jeanette Stensland, also serves as a co-director for the Milbank Orphan Grain Train organization. She reminds people that even though in-kind donations are always appreciated, there are things that you need to be aware of as well…

Donations and checks may also be taken to the Milbank warehouse at 101 West 12th Avenue between 10 a.m. and noon on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s or from 3 – 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. They may also be dropped off at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank.
