New Technical Program to be Unveiled in Webster Area

A new technical program is being unveiled in the Webster area in the near future that’s designed to help encourage more people to stay around the area after they finish high school.

The new Career and Technical Education Center will be set up in the same building as Webster’s former vocational program: the business center, which is located on Main Street. According to Amy, the research conducted by the task force eventually led to the idea of developing a new Career and Technical Education Center to better enhance the immediate and future workforce needs of Webster and the greater Day County area…

The program will be overseen by a teacher who has many years of experience in construction and who’s currently finishing up his teaching degree. A ribbon cutting and grand opening for the new high school program will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at the Webster Area Business Center located at 1209 Main Street…

The formal ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the new Webster area career and technical education program will take place at 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
