The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reports two women died late yesterday (Thursday) morning in a two vehicle head-on collision in Roberts County.
Officials say the accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on State Highway 10 three miles east of Sisseton.
So far no names have been released.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup was traveling east on Highway 10 when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a 2003 Dodge Caravan which was traveling westbound.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
