Winter Storm Watch Downgraded to Winter Weather Advisory

Although our immediate weather situation is expected to take a turn for the worse over the next several hours, there is actually some good news on the horizon. The “Winter Storm Watch” that was previously set to go into effect for our area from this (Wednesday) evening into tomorrow (Thursday) morning has now been downgraded to a “Winter Weather Advisory.” Lighter snowfall amounts, in general, are currently being forecast throughout much of northeastern South Dakota over the next 24 hours.
