Some lucky person is much wealthier today (Monday) after purchasing a Lotto America ticket valued at $20,000 from a Wilmot gas station this past Saturday.
South Dakota lottery officials say the latest weekend drawings featured the state’s first big “Lotto America” winner since the game returned in November,
Saturday’s winning ticket worth $20,000 was sold at Jurgens Oil Company on Highway 15 in Wilmot.
The second-prize ticket matched all five winning numbers, but not the star ball. The winning numbers were 14, 23, 35, 50 and 52. Odds of winning the second prize were 1 in 2,887,733.
