Emergency Water Situation Continues in Webster

The city of Webster is still experiencing problems with its water system after a water main break on Monday.

Local officials say the problem initially developed Monday morning when a water main ruptured, leaving most of the town’s residents without any tap water.

Water usage was initially restricted to emergency use only after the break occurred.

This (Tuesday) afternoon, the city completely shut off water to all residents until further notice.

After the necessary repairs have been made and full water service has been restored to the community,
at that point “all water” will need to be boiled before it can be consumed by the public.

KMSD Radio will continue to provide further updates on this story as things develop.
