Results of Milbank Blood Drive Announced

A total of 86 productive units of blood were collected yesterday (Tuesday) during an American Red Cross blood drive held at the Unity Square Community Center in Milbank.

The overall goal for the blood drive was 104 productive units.

Sixty-two units of whole blood were collected on the day, along with 12 double “Power Red” units.

Yesterday’s (Tuesday’s) potential blood drive donor list included 8 walk-ins, 20 no-shows and 10 deferrals.

A three gallon donor pin was presented to Dillon Zemlika with Delores Nordquist being recognized for being the oldest donor at 88-years-young.
