A Watertown man who learned about Corvettes at a very young age from his father will have his very own prized possession featured on the cover of a national magazine this spring. Mike Veeder, who serves as a sales consultant at a Watertown automotive business will have his 1965 Pro Street Corvette featured on the front cover of the May edition of the newest Chevy High Performance magazine. Mike explains how the somewhat unique situation initially came about…

That conversation eventually led to ongoing discussions with representatives from Chevy High Performance who seemed to show increased interest in the 1965 Corvette as Mike explains…

Although initially things appeared to be moving very slowly, one day Mike received some interesting news which seemed to indicate things were starting to move forward again…

Mike goes on to further explain what the cover feature on his Corvette will entail when the May edition of Chevy High Performance Magazine is released…

Although Mike and his family are still simply amazed by what has transpired over the past several months, he admits he’s very proud and honored by what has happened due in part to his family’s genuine love of Corvettes…

Mike’s lifetime goal, of course, is to keep the Corvette with his immediate family from generation to generation. For more information about Chevy High Performance Magazine you can visit www.superchevy.com or you can also check out their facebook page, as well.
