The Grant County Emergency Management Office has a new full-time director to oversee general emergency management responsibilities on a county-wide scale.
Kevin Schuelke was recently appointed to fill the position by the Grant County Board of Commissioners.
Schuelke will begin his new duties with the office on Monday, March 19th.
He replaces Sheryl Ward, who had previously served the position for the past 25 years.
Schuelke also currently serves as Milbank Fire Chief, a position which he has held since 2009.
