Students at St. Lawrence School in Milbank recently completed another successful fundraising raffle event to benefit the local catholic school system. The raffle officially concluded on March 7th with a total of $17,150 being raised. This year’s overall goal was $15,000. This year, St. Lawrence school students sold raffle tickets for five dollars each. The annual raffle program is sponsored by Catholic United Financial. St. Lawrence was one of more than 80 schools from the Dakotas region and the state of Minnesota which took part in this year’s annual raffle promotion. Prizes valued at more than $40,000 were given away during this year’s event.
