One person is dead after a stabbing last (Tuesday) night at a mobile home park just west of Watertown.
At around 9:30 p.m., Codington County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a mobile home park just off West Highway 212 for a reported stabbing.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found an adult male with multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released, but the sheriff’s office says the person involved lived at the address deputies were called to.
One person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. The name of the person who was apprehended has not been released, but authorities says the subject is an adult male from the Watertown area.
Additional details regarding the incident are expected to be released later today (Tuesday).
