Watertown Fire Rescue Crews Called to Blaze at Local Electroplating and Power Coating Business

A fire at a Watertown business last (Monday) night resulted in some equipment being destroyed,
although there were no known injuries to any employees.

Watertown Fire Rescue crews were called to Dakota Finishing on the city’s southwest side at around 9:30 p.m.

An investigation revealed some cardboard at the facility had caught fire. It took firefighters just a short time to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
