
The South Dakota Department of Tourism has announced the year-long closure of three eastern South Dakota rest stop areas along Interstate 29.
The three areas affected include Wilmot, Valley Springs and Vermillion.
The rest stops/information centers are set to close at the end of the current season this year. They will remain closed through all of 2018 while undergoing renovations and updates at each site.
