
The Milbank Fire Department responded to two separate rural grass fires on Friday, May 25th.
The first fire call came in at around 1 p.m. near the intersection of 151st Street and 460th Avenue.
The fire consumed approximately 120 acres.
Fire departments from South Shore and Marvin also responded to the blaze.
Firefighters remained on the scene for approximately two hours.
The Milbank Fire Department responded to another grass fire Friday evening near the Scott Flockart residence located at 14975 482nd Avenue east of Milbank.
It took firefighters just a short period of time to bring the fire under control.
