A community shredding event is being considered for this summer. Because it has become critial to protect personal information, shredding large amounts of paper from our filing cabinets and storage boxes has become a huge task with a small home shredder. The Environmental Office is looking for public input to determine if there is any interest in this type of event. If enough feedback is received, a vendor will be hired to come for 3 to 4 hours on a Saturday to do mass shredding for the general public.
